About NewPlat ETF

Absa CIB’s NewPlat Exchange Traded Fund (NewPlat) is the simplest method for investors to gain cost-efficient exposure to the price of physical platinum. NewPlat continuously tracks the platinum spot price and enables investors to purchase a listed instrument (structured as a debenture) in which each security is equivalent to approximately 1/100th ounces of platinum. The debenture is fully backed by holdings of platinum with a Custodian, ICBC Standard Bank.
